Dale R. Harris

Senior of Counsel, Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP

Dale is Senior Of Counsel to one of Denver’s oldest and largest law firms, Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. He joined the firm in 1962, following his graduation from Harvard Law School. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado.

His law practice has focused on the trial of complex business and commercial cases and antitrust litigation and counseling. In recent years he has devoted most of his professional practice to mediating and arbitrating commercial and business disputes.

Dale is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has served as president of both the Colorado and the Denver Bar Associations. He has received the Denver Bar Association Award of Merit and the Colorado Bar Association Award of Merit for service to the profession and community. He has also received the Denver Law Club’s Lifetime Achievement Award and the Rocky Mountain Arthritis Foundation’s Williams Award and Ruth Vincent Cunningham Award.

Dale served twelve years as a member of the Mile High United Way Board of Trustees, during which he was Chairman of the Board for two years. He is a member of the Denver Rotary Club, and a past member of the Colorado Supreme Court’s Judicial Advisory Council, and the Chief Justice’s Commission on the Legal Procession. He is past chair of the board of directors of the Great West Region of the Arthritis Foundation, and has been a member of the board of directors of the Colorado Judicial Institute, the Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado, the Colorado Lawyers Trust Account Foundation, QualLife Wellness Community, and the Colorado Lend-a-Lawyer program. He has served as the Colorado State Chairman of the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation. He is a former member of the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association, and was Colorado State Chairman of the United States Supreme Court Historical Society.
