The Colorado Forum was established in 1978 to create an informed, objective voice on critical public policy issues facing the state.  Our 77 members are recognized leaders in the business, education, health care, media, legal, real estate, agriculture, financial, energy, consulting, tourism, construction, and non-profit communities and represent disparate parts of the state.  Forum membership is politically diverse; we are a nonpartisan organization that operates by 100% consensus. Marc Neely

President and CEO, UnitedHealthcare of Colorado and Wyoming

Marc Neely is the Chief Executive Officer of UnitedHealthcare of Colorado and Wyoming.  He brings 30 years of experience and insight through his work with small, mid-sized and large commercial and public sector organizations.  His primary focus has been in healthcare, collaborating with healthcare delivery systems, employers, brokers, consultants, health technology companies and policy makers with a focus on making health care more affordable and improving the consumer’s healthcare experience. As President and CEO, Marc is responsible for the health plan’s overall operations, strategic plan, business development, and community and regulatory relationships in Colorado and Wyoming. 

Marc is involved in several organizations in the community including CU South Denver as a member of their Advisory Board, a Board member of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce; a Board member of the American Cancer Society’s CEO’s Against Cancer organization and a regular blood donor through the Bonfils Blood Center (recently renamed Vitalent).

 Marc is a graduate of CU Boulder and has lived in Colorado for over 30 years. He and his wife, Kathy, have 3 children (age 19, 22 and 24). Marc is an avid skier, golfer and music lover.
