ABOUT THE COLORADO FORUM

The Colorado Forum was established in 1978 to create an informed, objective voice on critical public policy issues facing the state.  Our 77 members are recognized leaders in the business, education, health care, media, legal, real estate, agriculture, financial, energy, consulting, tourism, construction, and non-profit communities and represent disparate parts of the state.  Forum membership is politically diverse; we are a nonpartisan organization that operates by 100% consensus. Mary McBride


Independent Corporate Director and Corporate Advisor

Mary currently serves as an independent director for CatchMark Timber Trust, Inc. and a senior advisor for Catalyze, Inc.  She is also a board member and past board Chair of Mile High United Way, Membership Chair of the Asian Art Association of the Denver Art Museum, is a member of the Wellesley College Business Leadership Council, and formerly served on the Biomass Technical Advisory and Research Committee of the US Departments of Energy & Agriculture.

Mary is a senior banking executive and corporate advisor with 30+ years of leadership in commercial banking. Mary joined CoBank, ACB in 1993 and most recently served as president prior to her departure from the organization in December, 2016. She previously worked for First Interstate Bank of Denver and the First National Bank of Boston.

She earned a BA from Wellesley College, an MS from the London School of Economics, and a Master of Science in Management from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
