Monica Skok

Monica Liley Skok specializes in helping organizations, both for profit and non-profit, and their people, primarily executives and entrepreneurs, realize value across a spectrum of objectives.  She is currently the CEO of an ultra-high net worth single family office, where she leads a team of professionals and consultants dedicated to strengthening the health, wealth and long-term goals of the family, through managing complex and comprehensive asset preservation, financial management, general advisory, direct private investments, family governance, philanthropic efforts and legacy planning.

Ms. Skok has spent over 20 years in executive, investment banking and strategy consulting roles.  Prior to her current CEO role, Monica founded an impact investing firm to enable strategic success for leaders and companies, financial return for investors, and productive social impact for communities.  She has advised foundations, universities, non-profits, for-profits and private equity and venture capital firms in their pursuit of investments with double or triple-bottom line returns.  Previously, Monica was a partner at St. Charles Capital, a boutique investment banking firm providing strategic financial and transactional services, where she founded and led the healthcare industry practice.  Her earlier investment banking and finance work includes positions with Green Manning & Bunch in Denver, Colorado, J.P. Morgan & Co. in New York City, and at the World Bank Group in Washington, D.C.  Monica has participated in more than 40 merger and acquisition, financing, and financial advisory engagements with a total value in excess of $7 billion.

Ms. Skok is passionate about education, healthcare, land conservation and smart financial stewardship.  Monica has had the opportunity to work with many community organizations in both strategic and volunteer capacities by serving on the Board of Directors of:  the Colorado Education Initiative (Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer), the Telluride Venture Accelerator (Mentor), the Colorado Health Foundation (Philanthropy, Investment and Finance Committees), the Quarterly Forum (Board of Advisors) the Children’s Museum of Denver (Treasurer), the Women’s Foundation of Colorado (Finance Committee), the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver (Advisory Board), and the Level One Society of the Denver Health Foundation (Founder and Advisory Board Member).  She was selected to participate in the 2006 Leadership Denver program of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, and was recognized as one of Denver’s “Forty Under 40” by the Denver Business Journal.

Monica is a 5th generation Colorado native, with coal mining, agricultural and entrepreneurial roots.  She currently resides in Denver with her husband John, their two boys Paul (14) and Charlie (11), and their sweet golden retriever Auggie.
