We are very privileged to live in Colorado and members of the Colorado Forum care deeply about the future of our State.  The Colorado Forum was formed in 1978 with a diverse membership of business and civic leaders who work to achieve good public policy results for Colorado. Paul Taylor

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Guaranty Bank and Trust Company

Mr. Taylor is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Guaranty Bank and Trust Company, a Colorado based community bank with $2.4 billion in assets, and President and Chief Executive Officer of the parent company, Guaranty Bancorp. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Guaranty Bancorp.

Mr. Taylor has 32 years of banking and investment banking experience, the last eighteen years of which have been in Colorado. Mr. Taylor served as Guaranty Bank’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Operating Officer and Secretary from 2009-2011. From 2004 to 2009, he served as Guaranty Bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. From 2000 to 2004, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Centennial Bank of the West.

Previously, Mr. Taylor worked for Alex Sheshunoff Investment Banking as a Director of Mergers and Acquisitions. He was also an investment banker with Century Capital Group, where he advised small businesses on mergers and acquisitions and financing. Mr. Taylor worked for KeyCorp for 12 years in both New York and the Rocky Mountain Region in numerous management positions and left the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Rocky Mountain Region. Mr. Taylor serves on the Board of Directors for Boys and Girls Club Metro Denver and the Board of Governors for the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation.
