Barbara Baumann
President, Cross Creek Energy Corporation

Barbara Baumann is President of Cross Creek Energy Corporation of Denver, Colorado. She previously worked for Associated Energy Managers, as well as for Amoco Corporation and its subsidiaries, including as Vice President of the company’s San Juan Basin Business Unit.

Barbara currently serves as a director of two publicly traded companies, Devon Energy Corporation and National Fuels Gas Corporation, as well as a director of privately held Ascent Resources Corporation and Texas America Resources II Corporation.   She is an independent trustee of the Putnam Mutual Funds and a senior advisor to the private equity firm First Reserve.  Barbara is actively involved with local non-profits, serving on the Finance Committee of Children’s Hospital Colorado and on the investment committee of The Denver Foundation.  She is a former board chair of Girls, Inc. of Metro Denver.

Barbara holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, where she was formerly a trustee and chair of its board.
