Barbara Baumann
President, Cross Creek Energy Corporation

Barbara Baumann is President of Cross Creek Energy Corporation of Denver, Colorado. She previously worked for Associated Energy Managers, as well as for Amoco Corporation and its subsidiaries, including as Vice President of the company’s San Juan Basin Business Unit.

Barbara currently serves as a director of publicly traded National Fuel Gas Corporation, as well as a director of privately held IOG Resources Corporation. Previously she served on the publicly traded boards of Devon Energy, Buckeye Partners, CVR Energy, UNS Energy, and SM Energy.

She serves as chair of the independent trustee board of the Putnam Mutual Funds and is a senior advisor to the private equity firm First Reserve. She is a former board chair of Girls, Inc. of Metro Denver, and previously served on the board, and chaired the finance and investment committees, of The Denver Foundation. 

Barbara holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, where she was formerly a trustee and chair of its board.
