Marco Antonio Abarca
President and Owner, Ready Foods, Inc.

Marco was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He is a graduate of Regis Jesuit High School. Marco received his undergraduate degree from Yale College and his law degree from Stanford Law School.

Marco’s first job out of law school was with the Migrant Farmworker Unit of California Rural Legal Assistance. In 1992, Marco returned to Denver to work in his family’s food processing company. Ready Foods produces soups and sauces for restaurants and supermarkets. Marco is the majority shareholder of the company and serves as its President.

He currently serves on the boards of History Colorado, Colorado Outward Bound, the Latino Leadership Institute and the Advisory Board of the Marine Corp Scholarship Foundation.

Marco lives in Denver with his wife and two high school age children. His interests include the study of history and book collecting.
