As the Chief Executive Officer of SCL Health and Executive Sponsor for Integration and a member of the board at Intermountain Healthcare, Lydia Jumonville is responsible for leading the newly formed organization through strategic integration across the health system. In her current roles, which she will hold over the planned 2-year integration process, she is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the Integration Steering Committee and of integration activities across the health system. She will also play a key role in preserving the Catholicity of the new health system’s Catholic entities and furthering the reach of Catholic healthcare’s healing ministry.

Lydia also played an integral role in leading the organizations through the evaluation and completion of the merger of SCL Health and Intermountain Healthcare, which resulted in the establishment of a blended secular and Catholic healthcare system that employs 58,000 caregivers and is the 11th largest non-profit health system in the United States. 

 In her previous role as President & CEO of SCL Health, a leadership position she held from 2017-2022, Lydia established a best-in-class Executive Leadership Team and led SCL Health to achieve industry-leading financial, quality and organizational outcomes. Prior to this role, Lydia served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SCL Health. Before joining SCL Health, Lydia spent nearly 10 years of her distinguished career in financial leadership as the Chief Financial Officer at Baylor Health Care System in Dallas, Texas. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University, where she graduated summa cum laude, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Lydia became a founding member of Colorado Inclusive Economy in 2020, establishing a network of leaders who are dedicated to envisioning and operationalizing a Colorado that is more equitable and inclusive for all. She serves as a member of the Board of Directors for National Jewish Health, the Catholic Health Association (CHA) and the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Colorado Forum, an organization dedicated to advocating for policy that improves the health and lives of Coloradans. Lydia was named as a Most Admired CEO by the Denver Business Journal in 2020.
