Lee White is a Managing Director of DA Davidson & Co.

He has been in the investment banking business for 40 years and is responsible for underwriting over $9 billion of municipal bonds. He came to investment banking with extensive cabinet-level experience in state government for Governor Richard Lamm. He was Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Administration in 1979-80 and then Executive Director of the Colorado Office of State Planning and Budget in 1981-82.

Mr. White participates in numerous civic organizations. He has served as a Trustee of the Colorado Historical Society, the Greater Denver Corporation and is a member of the Colorado Forum, The Cactus Club and the Mile High Club. He was twice elected to the Denver Board of Education as an At-Large Member in 1996 and 1998. Mr. White has served as Co-chairman, U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee’s Study on Infrastructure in the United States; Co-chairman, City of Denver, Comprehensive Planning Advisory Committee; Treasurer, Colorado Martin Luther King Holiday Commission; Chairman, Clayton Foundation; President & CEO, Stapleton Redevelopment Foundation; Chairman, Denver Water Board Citizens Advisory Committee; Chairman, Denver Civic Ventures; Chairman, Denver Public Schools Pro-Comp Trust; Member of Denver Public School Foundation Board; Member, Colorado Clean Energy Development Authority; and was Board Chairman of Rocky Mountain Prep, a Denver ECES - 5 Charter School. He was Co-chairman of "Raise the Bar . . . Protect Our Constitution Amendment 71 Committee” which was approved by the voters in 2016. He is on the Building Better Colorado Executive Committee. He was an elder of Montview Presbyterian Church.

Mr. White received a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a Masters of City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
